About Dr. Ashraf Metwally
 

Dr. Metwally is a Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon practicing in Cairo, Egypt since 1992. Since that time he has performed more than 14,000 operations. Back in 1999 he opened his first private hospital in Heliopolis along with one partner. In 2003, he opened a second one in Mohandeseen. In 2006, he opened his own center in Maadi that offers all surgical, non surgical, revision, reconstructive, congenital defects procedures, skin treatments, hair transplantation and hair removal. In 2007, he renovated the branch in Mohandeseen turning it into the first complete non surgical center equipped with the latest state-of-the art equipment for facial treatments, unwanted hair removal, weight loss, body contouring and cellulite treatment.

 

Dr. Metwally trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The General Organization for Teaching Hospitals and Institutes in Cairo, Egypt. He has developed a special interest in facial, breast, and body re-contouring procedures. He is currently a member in the Egyptian Society for Plastic and Reconstruction Surgeons. He is a Certified 'Diplomate' of The International Master Course on Aging Skin (IMCAS, Paris). He is also a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons.


Dr. Metwally received his MBBch. from Zagazig University. He obtained a Master Degree of General Surgery from Ain Shams University. He earned his MD of Surgery from Ain Shams University. Dr. Metwally is currently a Consultant of Plastic Surgery in The General Organization for Teaching Hospitals and Institutes in Cairo, Egypt.

 

Dr. Metwally believes that the success of a plastic surgeon goes beyond science and skill. It requires an artistic insight for each individual case. He also believes that each person has an individual taste in his/her personal appearance. That is why, Dr. Metwally combines science, skill, art, and most importantly the person's desired result in his work.
